Never Before, Never Again
Triskelion's 4th annual NBNA festival features improvisation of all stripes!
NBNA celebrates the moment of invention as it explodes from the unknown with a cadre of expert improvisors! Featuring artists who regularly harness the ephemeral, in work never before seen and never to be seen again beyond this one presentation. We invite you to share the power of immediate presence in performance - through dance, comedy, Butoh, music, theater, and more.

Bones, Bodies & Demons (Study #2)
Bones, Bodies & Demons is an honest, visceral expression of self through movement, melody and language. This solo-work reveals an inner life flush with fears, worries, indulgences and the other demons that shape us. This work aches for harmony, yearns for attention and longs for acceptance.
Monday, February 5 at 8pm (doors open at 7:45pm)

Public Program Showing for Exploring the Metropolis' Choreographer + Composer Residency
Thursday, February 15 at 7pm
Jamaica Center for Arts and Learning - (161-4 Jamaica Ave Jamaica, Queens)
You & Me, Together We… (working title) is a live presentation of a new embodied songwriting practice currently being developed by dance artist/choreographer, LAUREL SNYDER, musician/composer, ADAM SCHATZ and their collaborator, dance artist, EMMA JUDKINS. Throughout this casual, in-process showing, the artists will use movement, voice, electronically manipulated recorded sound, saxophone and keyboard to devise original melodies, lyrics and movement live in performance. Additionally, they will share other examples of material that was generated using this process. Following the showing will be a brief Q&A session to provide more insight into the work for both the audience and the artists.
